Mariella Spagnolo is a highly experienced hospitality educator and consultant specializing in fundraising development and event management. With over 20 years in the field, Mariella is the owner of I Love Events, LLC.

Her commitment to the nonprofit sector began during her six years in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where she led a fundraising initiative for La Institución Fatima, a school for the deaf-blind. She founded their annual fundraising gala and served as a board member.

Throughout her career, Mariella has been associated with numerous nonprofit organizations and has successfully raised over $4.5M in charitable revenue. In addition to her work in hospitality and fundraising, Mariella is also an award-winning screenwriter and filmmaker.

A multilingual professional, she holds an MBA and a Post MBA certificate from Fairleigh Dickinson University. She received the National Institute for Staff and Organizational Development (NISOD) Award in 2023 for excellence in teaching and has recently completed a Baking Certification program, demonstrating her dedication to continuous learning.
