Jasmín Mara López is New Orleans-based filmmaker, audio producer and grant writer focused on storytelling that inspires social change.

Her debut feature film, Silent Beauty, premiered at Hot Docs and won Best Documentary Feature at Urbanworld Film Festival and the Jury Award for Revolutionary Cinema at Indie Memphis.

She is also the creator of the audio documentary Deadly Divide: Migrant Death on the Border, which received an Excellence in Journalism Award from the Society of Professional Journalists. Her work explores themes of healing, identity, and environmental justice.

In her grant writing practice, she helps organizations amplify their impact by developing thoughtful, narrative-driven approaches to fundraising.
